Yes, it’s true. We are reopening our building for Watch Parties from Sunday 6th September! Although it may be a very different experience to what we have known, we are so excited at the opportunity to gather together again. After watching the above video please look through this page to make sure you are aware of how our services will take place. Can’t wait to see you there!
We are very excited to be reopening our building for in-person Watch Parties in accordance with ongoing government advice. Please select from the dates and times below and reserve your seat!
We are very excited to be reopening our building for in-person Watch Parties starting Sunday 6th September. Our team has been working hard over the past few months to ensure the right measures are in place to keep you safe.
Whilst we are aware this next stage for us may not be ideal for everyone, we are excited to be moving forward within the government’s guidance and advice. We will be continuing our online broadcasting for the foreseeable future. We encourage you to continue to make Sundays a priority in your new term routine. Whether that is online, with one other household at your home or attending a Watch Party at the CityCoast building. We are more passionate than ever before about growing together. We can’t wait to connect with you again!
Everyone’s health, wellbeing and safety is very important, so we have implemented a number of changes to our services:
We also ask that you assist us in building this environment by agreeing to a number of requests whilst reserving a seat on the online ticketing system.Book Tickets Here
Our capacity is going to be limited so we can create a safe and socially distanced experience. To ensure you get a seat, we’re going to require you to reserve a free ticket online before you come to church. You can book tickets for your household or support bubble and even for friends or guests – just get their tickets in a separate booking and only book tickets you will use so someone else doesn’t miss out.
We ask that you arrive 20 minutes before the service starts to allow us to check you in and seat you.Due to the high level of demand, if you arrive after the service starts, we reserve the right to give your ticket away.
When you arrive, the Host Team will check you in, and usher you to your seat without you needing to touch any surfaces. All interactions and content will either be on a big screen or on your mobile device, this includes the welcome, offering and Next Steps cards.
Please note that we won't be able to collect any cash offerings in our Sunday Watch Parties due to the higher risk of contamination. Tithes and offering will be possible via Paypal or standing order - details will be shared on screen.
All surfaces will be sanitised between services. We do ask that if you are ill you continue to view CityCoast Church online in your home. Please do not attend our venues or a watch party in someone else’s home if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
We are going to be asking you to wear a face covering (only children under 11 and people with breathing difficulties are exempt) and we’ll have spare ones available on arrival if you’ve forgotten yours, along with hand-sanitiser. All of our team will be wearing face coverings as well.
Seating will be arranged in accordance with the latest social distancing guidelines. Only members of the same household or support bubble will be able to sit together, and it’s really important that we respect this.
You will be shown to your seats and then 2 seats will be closed off. Children who don’t attend the CityKids programme will be required to remain with their family at all times to ensure social distancing measures are respected.
We know you may meet people you have not seen in months for the first time but please respect the government guidelines and do not greet people with a hug or handshake!
Only members of the same household are allowed to share a car.
Please follow the current guidelines for travel on public transport and if arriving by car, we ask that you follow the car park team’s instructions on where to park. They are filling the car park in as safe a manner as possible. We may require you to park in alternative spaces. Whilst in our car parks, we ask that you stay alert and respect the current social distancing guidance.
To prevent transmission, and in keeping with the current Government guidelines, we will not initially be singing out loud when we gather but rather looking to ‘sing and make music in our hearts’. While this may seem strange to many of us, we ask that you follow this request.
The worship will be shown on screen in the auditorium the same way as it will be on the CityCoast Online services.
These will be open, and all surfaces get sanitized before each service.
If your child needs to go to the toilet, we ask that you accompany them (our kids team will supervise them during the CityKids programme).
We will operate a one-way system of separate entrances and exits. This is in place for your safety and we ask that you respect and honour any team members requests.
To facilitate as many people’s attendance as possible, and to be in keeping with the government guidelines for places of worship, we are unable to open the café for times of connection. You will not be able to purchase drinks and refreshments from the café and we also ask you not to bring your own food or drinks (except water bottles). At the end of the service, you will be directed when to leave by our Host Team members. We ask that you respect and honour any direction given to you by our team to help us to deliver as safe an experience as possible.
If your child takes part in the Verve Youth Session on the first floor at the 10am service, the team will bring all young people up to the Auditorium after the service to be re-united with their families.
If your child takes part in the CityKids Primary Session on the first floor at the 10am service, please pick them up from the Theatre 10 minutes after the service finishes by using the back staircase. The kids team will show you how to leave the building safely from the first floor following the one-way system.
Verve Youth sessions will only take place during the 10am Watch Party service. These sessions are for young people who are in secondary school. Please book a separate ticket for your child so we will know how many young people will attend. Verve Youth sessions will take place in the Open Area on the first floor. The team is trained in adhering to safety guidelines and will wear face coverings. On arrival the team will welcome young people at the doors and show them to their designated seats. The Verve Youth session will last for the whole duration of the upstairs service.
After the service the team will bring all young people up to the Auditorium to be re-united with their families.
If you have been diagnosed with or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the service, you must not come to a CityCoast Watch Party.
Likewise, if you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the service, please stay at home.
In addition, if you have returned from international travel from a country where it is required to isolate on return to the UK (see updated travel corridor list provided by the government) or been in close contact with someone who has returned from such a country in the last 14 days please stay at home.
If you are considered to be extremely clinically vulnerable to COVID-19 you should continue to follow the government’s advice on shielding and therefore stay home and not attend our Watch Parties.
We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. Please get in touch prior to your visit via email@example.com so we can make sure the necessary arrangements are made.
In compliance with UK Government guidelines we will be keeping temporary data records of those attending in-person services at CityCoast Church. We are doing this in order to assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for data if it is needed.
By reserving a seat for a CityCoast Watch Party you agree that your details may be shared with NHS Test and Trace in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak.
CityKids sessions will only take place during the 10am Watch Party service. These sessions are for children who are in primary school only (you can book a combi ticket for the Parent/Toddler room if you have children that are younger). Please book a separate ticket for your child so we will know how many kids will attend. On arrival our Host Team will ask you and your child(ren) to wait in the Café area on the second floor until 9.55am when the CityKids team will take all kids to the Theatre (first floor). You will then be shown to your seats in the Auditorium. The team is trained in adhering to safety guidelines and will wear face coverings. Each child will have their designated seat that is socially distanced from other children. CityKids Primary will last for the whole duration of the upstairs service.
After the service, please pick up your children from the Theatre by using the back staircase. The kids team will show you how to leave the building safely from the first floor following the one-way system.
If you have children younger than primary school age you are welcome to book a combi ticket for our Parent/Toddler Room next to the Auditorium. Please be aware that parental supervision is required at all times and that you won't be able to use seats in the Auditorium during the service if you have booked this ticket type. We would ask you to bring your own toys to avoid cross contamination. There will be a live feed from the Auditorium so you won’t miss out on the church service.
If you have any questions please drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
