We are excited to share further updates in regards to our Church services! We can’t wait to see you at church! Tickets are no longer required to join us in person.
We are very excited to be reopening our building for in-person Watch Parties in accordance with ongoing government advice. Please select from the dates and times below and reserve your seat!
We are very excited to be reopening our building for in-person Watch Parties starting at Easter. Our team has been working hard to ensure the right measures are in place to keep you safe.
Whilst we are aware this next stage for us may not be ideal for everyone, we are excited to be moving forward within the government’s guidance and advice. We will be continuing our online broadcasting for the foreseeable future. We encourage you to continue to make Sundays a priority in your new term routine. Whether that is online or by attending a Watch Party at the CityCoast building. We can’t wait to connect with you again!
Everyone’s health, wellbeing and safety is very important, so we have implemented a number of changes to our Watch Party services:
We also ask that you assist us in building this a safe environment by agreeing to a number of requests whilst reserving a seat on the online ticketing system.Book Tickets Here
Our capacity is going to be limited so we can create a safe and socially distanced experience. To ensure you get a seat, we’re going to require you to reserve a free ticket online before you come to church. You can book tickets for your household or even for friends or guests as you can now be seated together in a group of up to 6 people or two households. You will have to remain in your chosen social bubble for the duration of the morning and you can’t mix with other groups. Please only book tickets you will use so someone else doesn’t miss out.
We ask that you arrive 20 minutes before the service starts to allow us to check you in and seat you. Due to the high level of demand, if you arrive after the service starts, we reserve the right to give your ticket away.
When you arrive, the Host Team will check you in, and usher you to your seat without you needing to touch any surfaces. All interactions and content will either be on a big screen or on your mobile device, this includes the welcome, offering and Next Steps cards.
Please note that we won't be able to collect any cash offerings in our Sunday Watch Parties due to the higher risk of contamination. Tithes and offering will be possible via Paypal or standing order - details will be shared on screen.
All surfaces will be sanitised between services. We do ask that if you are ill you continue to view CityCoast Church online in your home. Please do not attend our venues or a watch party in someone else’s home if you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19.
We are going to be asking you to wear a face covering (only children under 11 and people with breathing difficulties are exempt) and we’ll have spare ones available on arrival if you’ve forgotten yours, along with hand-sanitiser. All of our team will be wearing face coverings as well.
Seating will be arranged in accordance with the latest social distancing guidelines. If you wish you can be seated together in a group of up to 6 people or two households (including under 18 year olds). You will have to remain in your chosen social bubble for the duration of the morning and you can’t mix with other groups.
Please tell the Host Team at check-in stage if you'd like to sit with someone specific in a group of up to 6 people or if you still want to be socially distanced from others. Children who don’t attend the CityKids programme will be required to remain with their family at all times to ensure social distancing measures are respected. Any young people in secondary school or college can be seated in our Verve Youth section (in social bubbles of up to 6 people).
We know you may meet people you have not seen in months for the first time but please respect the government guidelines and do not greet people with a hug or handshake who are not part of your chosen social bubble for that morning!
Only members of the same household are allowed to share a car.
Please follow the current guidelines for travel on public transport and if arriving by car, we ask that you follow the car park team’s instructions on where to park. They are filling the car park in as safe a manner as possible. We may require you to park in alternative spaces. Whilst in our car parks, we ask that you stay alert and respect the current social distancing guidance.
To prevent transmission, and in keeping with the current Government guidelines, we will not initially be singing out loud when we gather but rather looking to ‘sing and make music in our hearts’. While this may seem strange to many of us, we ask that you follow this request.
The worship will either be live or shown on screen in the auditorium the same way as it will be on the CityCoast Online services.
These will be open, and all surfaces get sanitized before each service.
If your child needs to go to the toilet, we ask that you accompany them (our kids team will supervise them during the CityKids programme).
We will operate a one-way system of separate entrances and exits. This is in place for your safety and we ask that you respect and honour any team members requests.
To facilitate as many people’s attendance as possible, and to be in keeping with the government guidelines for places of worship, we are unable to open the café for times of connection. You will not be able to purchase drinks and refreshments from the café and we also ask you not to bring your own food or drinks (except water bottles). At the end of the service, you will be directed when to leave by our Host Team members. We ask that you respect and honour any direction given to you by our team to help us to deliver as safe an experience as possible.
If your child takes part in the CityKids Pre-School Session on the second floor at the 10am service, please pick them up outside the Next Steps Lounge straight after the service finishes.
If your child takes part in the CityKids Primary Session on the first floor at the 10am service, please pick them up from the Theatre 10 minutes after the service finishes by using the back staircase. The kids team will show you how to leave the building safely from the first floor following the one-way system.
Please note that Verve Youth sessions during the Sunday Watch Parties are currently on pause, however we have a Friday night youth programme for young people who are in secondary school and college, consisting of youth services, outdoor socials and more. For updates and more information about Verve Youth, either follow us on Instagram (@verve.youth) or email the team on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Young people are more than welcome to join us for the Watch Party service by booking their tickets for the auditorium. They can be seated in our youth section (in social bubbles of up to 6 people).
If you have been diagnosed with or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the service, you must not come to a CityCoast Watch Party.
Likewise, if you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 14 days before the service, please stay at home.
In addition, if you have returned from international travel from a country where it is required to isolate on return to the UK (see updated travel corridor list provided by the government) or been in close contact with someone who has returned from such a country in the last 14 days please stay at home.
If you are considered to be extremely clinically vulnerable to COVID-19 you should continue to follow the government’s advice on shielding and therefore stay home and not attend our Watch Parties.
We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. Please get in touch prior to your visit via email@example.com so we can make sure the necessary arrangements are made.
In compliance with UK Government guidelines we will be keeping temporary data records of those attending in-person services at CityCoast Church. We are doing this in order to assist NHS Test and Trace with requests for data if it is needed.
By reserving a seat for a CityCoast Watch Party you agree that your details may be shared with NHS Test and Trace in the event of a COVID-19 outbreak.
We have separate CityKids sessions for children aged 2-4 (Pre-School) and for children who are in primary school. Please book a separate ticket for your child so we will know how many kids will attend each session. On arrival our Host Team will ask you and your child(ren) to wait in the Café area on the second floor until 9.55am when the CityKids team will take all kids to the Function Room (second floor) for CityKids Pre-School or the Theatre (first floor) for CityKids Primary. You will then be shown to your seats in the Auditorium. The team is trained in adhering to safety guidelines and will wear face coverings. Children will be seated in groups of up to 6, please speak to the CityKids team if you want your child(ren) to sit with anyone specific or want them to be socially distanced from others. Both CityKids sessions will last for the whole duration of the service.
After the service, please pick up your children from outside the Next Steps Lounge (Pre-School) and the Theatre (Primary School) by using the back staircase. The kids team will show you how to leave the building safely from the first floor following the one-way system.
If you have children younger than pre-school age you are welcome to use our two baby rooms during the service; they are located on the second floor (the Host Team can show you where to find them).
You won’t need to get a separate ticket to use these rooms, please just book your seats in the auditorium. Both rooms will have limited capacity so please adhere to the information provided for each room (as per sign on the door). There will be a live feed from the Auditorium so you won’t miss out on the church service.
Both rooms will be equipped with soft seats for adults, highchairs and nappy changing facilities. Please wipe any hard surfaces after use with antibacterial wipes provided in each room and bring your own toys to avoid cross contamination.
If you have any questions please drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and someone from the team will get back to you as soon as possible.
